What methods of payments do you take?

We take Visa, Mastercard, and American Express which are accepted through PayPal. We also accept E-Checks through PayPal but we can not ship your item until it has cleared. We apologize, but we do not accept cash, checks, or money orders.

How secure is this store?

This store uses PayPal for payments, and PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

Do I need a PayPal account to purchase from this store?

No, you are not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from this store. Although if you already have a PayPal account you may use it.

When will my order ship?

Items marked Ready to Ship ship in 1 - 3 business days, all other items ship within 5 - 7 business days. All items shipped within the United States (48) are shipped through USPS First Class for a flat fee of $3.95. Every Nautical Wheeler piece is handmade after you place your order. We always want you to be completely happy with your order. Due to its handmade nature, there can be slight variances from piece to piece. We believe this only adds to the charm of the jewelry.

International Shipping

Canada orders are sent USPS First Class for a flat rate of $9.95.

International orders are sent USPS First Class for a flat fee of $15.95 USD, delivery can take 6 - 8 weeks. If you are an international customer and would like to receive your order quicker, we offer USPS Priority for a flat fee of $32.95 USD. If you would like to upgrade your shipping, please email us before placing your order info@nauticalwheelerjewelry.com Orders ship from the United States, either from NY or CT.

Duties and taxes are not included in the total at checkout. International customers are responsible for paying all duties and taxes upon delivery of their order. International shipping in non-refundable. Customers will not be refunded the shipping cost in the event that an International shipment is refused by the receiver or is not collected in the appropriate time.

Packaging + Gift Wrapping

Every order comes with one Nautical Wheeler linen pouch. Receipts are not enclosed with packaging, they are emailed to you separately. If you would like to include a gift message, please email us with your order number and message, info@nauticalwheelerjewelry.com

What is your return policy?

If you are unhappy with an item, returns are accepted for refund within 14 days of receipt. Returns through retailers must be returned to retailers and are subject to the retailer’s store policy. Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt and in their original packaging and original condition. Customers are responsible for return/exchange shipping to and from the studio. This includes international customers. You will receive a refund once the returned items are received at the studio. If your return is late or in worn condition, you will receive a store credit via email. Store credits do not expire. Items marked FINAL SALE are not eligible for return or exchange. To setup a return please email info@nauticalwheelerjewelry.com with your name or order number.

Nautical Wheeler reserves the right to refuse returned products that have been used, worn or altered in any way.

Do you sell items wholesale or provide for charity events?

Yes! Please contact us via e-mail at info@nauticalwheelerjewelry.com for a wholesale catalog and line sheets.

Taking care of your jewelry:

*If your jewelry begins to tarnish, simply clean it following the instructions below & it will return to its original state.

Sterling silver / Brass - To clean, you can use a liquid Sterling silver jewelry cleaner like Connoisseurs Silver Jewelry Cleaner or a soft silver jewelry polishing cloth. It’s recommended not to get pieces wet, as water and metal do not mix.

*Brass jewelry - If you purchased brass jewelry it may turn your skin a greenish color, which is a natural reaction to the metal and is not harmful to you. To avoid any greenish color, place a layer of clear nail polish on the back or inside of your piece. This will create a barrier between the brass and your skin.

Gold-plating - To clean, you can use a liquid Sterling silver jewelry cleaner like Connoisseurs Silver Jewelry Cleaner. DO NOT use a polishing cloth or brush on gold-plating as it can remove some or all of the plating. Store in a jewelry box to avoid tarnishing, avoid contact with harsh chemicals (such as perfume/lotions, chlorine and detergents). It’s recommended not to get pieces wet, as water and metal do not mix.

Resizing:

Ring resizing is complimentary, the customer is responsible for shipping the ring to and from the studio.

Repairs:

If your piece requires repair within 30 days of receipt, the customer will not incur a repair fee. If your item is damaged outside the 30 day window, please contact us anyway, repairs start at just $4 but can vary depending on materials and the extent of the repair. The fee will be determined by the designer upon inspection of the damage. The customer is responsible for shipping the piece to and from the studio. We recommend insuring your repair. We are not responsible for lost packages and cannot issue a refund if your package is lost.

We reserve the right to deny unreasonable repairs, returns, and exchanges.
